An Introduction

Welcome. I’m Adam - a physician and filmmaker. For a long time now, one of my favorite genres of film has been the maker documentary. There’s something about stories that explore a person’s craft—their dedication, passion, and skill—that just draws me in. And I’ve come to realize that remarkable stories are everywhere if you just look. Anyone who truly cares about what they do has a story worth telling, whether their name is in bright lights or not.

This blog is where I’ll share what I’m doing along the way. You’ll find stories from the field, reflections on filmmaking, some behind-the-scenes looks at the projects I’m working on, and thoughts on craft. You’ll also see a bit about coffee, which is another craft I personally love exploring.

My hope is to shine a light on people whose stories might otherwise go untold—and maybe inspire you to see the extraordinary in the everyday.
